Last Wednesday I got to cuddle with a sweet little 8 pound baby boy named Canon. With a full head of dark hair and beautiful soft skin C was a little dreamboat and what his parents refer to as their little miracle. Welcome to the world Canon Joshua, mom and dad did good!

Ryder 9 Days Little

Ryder came a little earlier then expected. He’s tiny but fierce, he didn’t even need to be transferred out of the Outer Banks Hospital. He did amazing with his session & loved the outdoors, as to be expected with an Outer Banks baby.

I had such an amazing time traveling over to beautiful California to spend some time with my sister. For the second year in a row I had the opportunity to fly across the country and photograph Stephens homecoming. If you’re wondering about the flag Stephen is actually in the British Royal Navy and on loan to the United States. He just came home from his second 8 month deployment overseas. Welcome Home Stephen, we hope you’re getting a much deserved break back on dry land.

Emme Turns ONE {Outer Banks Cake Smash}

Didn’t I just photograph Emmy’s newborn session!? I love watching these little ones grow and start forming their little personalities! Emme was full of “Emme talk” which consisted of words or sounds like taco, taco & more taco (I’m right there with ya girl, this lady loves tacos) and doing lots of pointing and laughing.

You never know what you’re going to get from a cake smash and Emme was a perfect lady, smacking the cake around a bit and only taking a small taste here and there. Her cake was made by Abigail Hill with Hibou Pastries (find her on Facebook) and absolutely beautiful!

I will be giving away one family session plus disc of images to one local Outer Banks family with a special needs child.

I can not believe little Miss Berkleigh is one! Time flies. I photographed this little lady in her mamas belly, in the hospital and as a newborn. I love that we were able to incorporate the veggie basket in these photos since we also have a shot of her sleeping in it at her newborn session!
