Outer Banks natives, Chelsea and Jason, accomplished an incredible nature inspired backyard wedding with a modern mid-century twist. What makes this wedding extremely special is that C + J were wed on their very own land, property they purchased last year in Kitty Hawk, NC. One day they will build a home and a life […]

I love the beach. But, I also love traveling to new locations for something a little different. Sani & Patrick are not only amazing people but good family friends of ours so when they asked me to document the pregnancy of their first child I jumped at the chance. We met at a beautiful green […]

I recently had the privilege of documenting an absolutely perfect October Outer Banks wedding. The bride, Jessica, has been a long time friend. She and her new husband, Preston, got the best weather you can ask for and they really lucked out choosing the weekend after hurricane Matthew barreled through. Watching Jessica & Preston vibe […]

I absolutely love this time of year. Being able to photograph vacationing families is one of my very favorite things to do. As long as you can beat the Outer Banks wind and heat (and canopy’s HAHA) we always manage to have gorgeous sunset beach sessions. Enjoy the Watson family.

It doesn’t get much better than 60 degrees in February on the Outer Banks. Elizabeth & Jacob have a very strong, very powerful Christ centered relationship. You can almost feel the love between the two of them through the photos which is what I love the most about this session.

Baby J is a tiny little guy weighing in a 6lbs…of pure muscle. After we got the classic baby shots mom, dad and puppy Jetty hoped in for a few lifestyle shots of the family of four. I love how they turned out.

It seems like a little boy baby boom recently. I was lucky enough to photograph two of my Outer Banks wedding clients first children this past Sunday. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is watching families grow. First up is beautiful baby Will who is three weeks old with a beautiful head […]

Going to a different location is always inspiring in the photography reign of my life but I’ve actually been going to my parents cabin for 10+ years now and hadn’t used the area to it’s full potential. I guess that’s what happens on vacation mode. During the Thanksgiving holiday we were up in the mountains […]

This years minis are going to be a little different! I’ve been very inspired by our beautiful beaches this year so I’ve decided to hold this years holiday mini sessions on the ocean front! These photos won’t be about a bunch of props. I won’t have furniture or vintage cars. I will have the ocean […]

This was the last session I was able to photograph before this nasty nor’easter came through last week. Even this day was pretty windy with 15 MPH winds but this beautiful family stuck through it and I think it was totally worth it! The results are stunning! Allison did an amazing job styling her family […]
